If there’s one thing I hate about blogging, then there’s probably a bunch of other things too. My main bugbear is the continual need for new content. Blogs are hungry beasts. Much of what gets written is ephemeral and has a short shelf, no matter how much time you spent on it. With that in mind, I planned a series of ‘best of graffiti living’ posts with curated links to evergreen content from the archives on particular themes. Then I read my blog and realised that most of it was shit.

Against my better judgment and pending deadlines, I’m participating in NaBloPomo. One of the blessings and curses of attempting to post something every day for a month, is that it forces you to lower your standards, at the same time as you lower your guard. As a result, you’re more likely to post things unedited or ad-hoc, and people are more likely to get a glimpse of things that they wouldn’t normally see. So, in the spirit of a child who takes a dump on the floor and then says, “Look what I just did!”, here are some more notes from my notebook.
